Tuff is a little timid as he stuck by his dams side like white on rice. He is now weaned and is learning to lead and be more independent. Tuff is Starligt Shiners (Sire) last POA to be sired! These bloodlined are really somthing you dont see in POA. If you want a larger POA 14H in height with athleticsium, Looks and Brains this is the Pony for you! Starlight Shiners get have been porving them selves in the Mounted shooting circut and are at the top level of competition! We are possibly thinking about holding this colt back to stand later on since "Shiner" has since passed as of 2024. He has a very attractive head with a long neck that ties in high. he has a strong top line with nice strait legs! He will turn out to be a dark golden color like his sire with flaxen mane and tail, his Blanket will pop against that dark golden color!
We liked this cross so much that we decided to breed His dam back to Shiner as last years (2023) foal turned out to be a stunning balanced and correct Buckskin filly. Tuff's Full sister matured to be a larger POA Pony measuring 13.2HH as a yearling. So we know that this cross makes larger sizes which is perfect for Mounted shooting, cutting, and reining.

With Red we didnt need to leave a halter on him, we just walked right up to him put the halter on him in the pasture and he stood very patient while the kids figured out how to get the halter on. We didnt need to teach him how to kead or learn about pressue and release, he just knew how! We weaned him at four months and he didnt even bat an eye for mom. When it was time for him to go to his new home he loaded right up in the trailer.
