In 2004, Gary Martin, widely known for his cutting talent and equine event management success, sold his large horse and cattle ranch in Northeast Oregon and purchased a ranch in Terrebonne, Oregon with his wife Patty.
“JUNIPER RIDGE RANCH” (JRR) became the home of Gary and Patty’s passion, “NORTHWESTMARE SERVICES” (NWMS).
Martin matched his extensive knowledge of equine breeding and care with his skills as an organizer/manager to build a facility unmatched in the Northwest. As a certified breeding technician (Colorado State University), Martin has gathered a support staff with extensive experience who are dedicated to the care of your mares/foals and make them their number one priority.
